CODE OF SOUTH JACKSONVILLE

§ 92.01  NOISY ANIMALS.

No person shall keep or harbor any dog or other animal shut up or tied up in any yard, enclosure, or on any premises which, by barking, howling, bawling, or by other noises, shall disturb the peace and quiet of any family, individual, or neighborhood.

§ 92.02  KEEPING OF HOGS PROHIBITED.

The keeping of one or more hogs, pigs, sows, or boars within the corporate limits of the village is declared to be a nuisance and the same shall be, and hereby is, prohibited.

§ 92.99  PENALTY.

   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.

   (B)   Any person guilty of violating § 92.01 shall be fined not less than $50 nor more than $100 for each offense.

   (C)   Whoever shall create or continue a nuisance, as defined in § 92.02, or who shall suffer the same to exist upon his or her premises, shall upon conviction be fined not less than $50 nor more than $100 for each and every offense.
