Halloween Release

The Village of South Jacksonville would like to wish everyone a happy Halloween this coming weekend.

Halloween hours this year will be Saturday, October 30, 2021, and Sunday, October 31, 2021, from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. Parents are urged to walk with their children and encourage them to stay with their group. Please speak with your children about safely crossing the street especially while wearing Halloween masks and provide them with a flashlight if available. Parents should discuss with their children about entering unknown residences and speaking with strangers. It is recommended that all candy and treats be inspected by a parent prior to consumption.

With the recent storm events, we are asking that you try and avoid the storm damage areas like Labor Drive and Vandalia. If you do go down these areas, we ask that you use caution with all the debris still around.
